Cycling
Although competitive cycling has been active in the Virgin Islands since the early 80s, the Virgin Islands Cycling Federation reorganized as a 501(C)3 in 2011. As a member of Union Cycliste International (UCI), the VICF coordinates and develops racing opportunities for cyclists of all abilities – junior to veteran – and encourages training and competition among cyclists in the Virgin Islands. There are six racing categories: Elite, Expert, Sport, Masters, Women and Juniors. Our members join us in building our junior development and talent recognition program, where we try to identify juniors who show a keen interest to cycling as a sport.
