Boxing Federation

The Virgin Islands Amateur Boxing Federation a non-profit organization, in existence for over 15 years, is specifically geared toward the development of young boxers in the Virgin Islands with the purpose of developing future Olympic athletes and world champions. Mr. Fermin Corniero was the first President of the Federation, followed by Mr. Robert Moorhead and recently in 2004, Mr. Jose Rosario.

As a member of the Caribbean Amateur Boxing Association the Virgin Islands Amateur Boxing Federation has participated in tournaments throughout the Caribbean including Martinique, Santo Domingo, Bahamas, and Trinidad and Tobago and won numerous medals.
